New Release on our Respekt Recordings: Phunk Investigation - Blade Scanner (Subfractal & Tomy DeClerque Remixes)

OUT NOW:

Spektre's Respekt label is showing no signs of letting up, and proof of that is the new bomb by heavyweights Phunk Investigation. Appropriately titled "Blade Scanner", this one is an ever-building stomper and combined with the power that the boys have gotten us accustomed to, it delivers yet another punch straight to the jaw. Tomy DeClerque goes for the subtle dark route without letting go of any of the intensity, and throws in some ravey elements for added taste. The Subfractal mix holds on to the building feel of the original, with chugging percussion leading the way.

Ot Now on our Respekt Recordings: Anthony Castaldo & Snello - Rolling Patterns EP

Photobucket

The newest Respekt installment unearths two cuts straight from the crypts of cavernous Techno. Anthony Castaldo and Snello are back on it, with two tough tracks that keep the energy levels high without losing one bit of quality. Highly emphasizing one the loopy elements of Techno, this EP is a dark rollecoaster just waiting to be derailed.

Tracklist:
2. Anthony Castaldo - Closer

Review 4Clubbers.net:

Spektre’s Respekt Recordings ploughs on towards the end of 2010 sweeping all before it. Already clocking up an astonishing fifteen releases since Matt Cooper and Spektre’s Cuernos Cubanos EP back in 2009, many of the from the Spektre boys, it’s become as much of a statement of intent as a label, putting out release after release of techno, from the cavernous and dark to the glitchy and stripped back. Their latest, the Rolling Patterns EP, comes from Italians Anthony Castaldo & Snello.

It’s a two-track monster, a pair of unrelenting main-room techno efforts. The title track starts menacingly, the throbbing bassline and rasping percs punctuated by drops, building the energy and piling back into the mix like a high speed crash. Make no mistake, this is not for the faint-hearted. Similarly, Closer is dark and moody, albeit deeper than the A-side. The insistent sub-bass and fx give the track a spine, around which the elements drop in and out, with a more solid groove than the power of Rolling Patterns. Heavy.

Feedbacks:

  • Deepgroove - "Ace!"
  • The Advent - "good stuff.."
  • D-Unity - "Perfect for our Techno sets!!! Love it!!!"
  • Electric Rescue - "thanks good release as usual my fav is rooooolling patterns"
  • Echo Vacio - "rolling patterns is mental! full support!"
  • Mr Henry Von (Rekluse) - "more solid bang from Respekt :) "
  • Jon Rundell - "rolling patterns is slamming.. "
  • Marco V - "great energy in rolling patterns. party time"
  • Christian Cambas - "Both tracks in the box! Will definitely be playing"
  • Tom Hades - "Rolling Patterns is definitely rolling !! :)"
  • Jerome Ism-Ae - "great label!"
  • Anderson Noise - "Good stuff"
  • Miniminds - "another great ep form repekt, both tracks are sick and right up our street!!! keep em coming!"
  • Axel Karakasis - "Great tracks, thanks!!"
  • Subfractal - "great tunes from anthony castaldo again! full support on 'rolling patterns'! top tune! "
  • Loco & Jam - "Bomb Ep... Full Support for both tracks.. Will be hammering Rolling Patterns this weekend in Mexico and charting!!! Anthony & Snello are 2 names to watch!!!"

Always pushing the boundaries of undergound Techno, Respekt presents Sasha Carassi's debut EP for the label. Fresh off the heels of his latest EP's on Harthouse, Phobiq and Globox, Sasha showcases his trademark sound, this time with a deeper, more sinister twist. From the sonar-esque vibe of "Synchronize", to the claustrophobic "Modex" and to the urgency of "Method Head", Mr. Carassi once again shows us that he knows exactly how to manipulate both the body and the mind.

OUT NOW - Spektre - Sixteen Sins EP (1605)

Spektre has been associated with Sixteenofive for a while now, in one way or another, so it should come as no surprise that they have chose us to release their awesome new "Sixteen Sins" EP. Fitting right in with our formula and recipe for good techno, we are delighted to have them on board and happy to present their latest opus. Containing two brand new original productions, the EP is further evidence (as if it were needed) of why the boys have become such hot property. Having had a phenomenal run in the last months, from barnstorming, blinding live shows and gigs to heavy support and rotation of their studio work from pretty much every self respecting techno jock, they seem to be going from strength to strentgh. Don't say we didn't warn you!!
